Why SWSFF?

We bring communities together and create a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences between filmmakers, photographers, outdoor enthusiasts and the public.
Driven by a passion for film, culture and the outdoors, SWSFF seeks to advance appreciation of film-making while inspiring, informing and educating the public in these areas.

Vision & Mission

To celebrate outdoor adventure and mountain culture through film, photography and to promote domestic ski resorts, both locally and internationally, and beauty of Russia as one of the best places to visit in winter, a place where nature and culture meet.

Sustainability

SWSFF is committed to improving the festival's sustainability practices to reduce it's environmental footprint. We recognize the very real threat of habitat degradation and climate destruction.

SWSFF is an annual international 4-day community festival, featuring mountain film screenings, photography exhibitions, workshops, seminars & other special events. We are also a travelling show with nominee films, visiting biggest cities across Russia every Fall each year.
